The Taxpayers' Side of the "BART to San Jose" Debate
featuring
Greg Perry,
Mountain View City Councilman and VTA Policy Advisory Board Member
TOPIC
Building a BART extension to San Jose has been an ongoing debate since BART was originally designed. At that time San Jose properly elected not to participate; that has since changed.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Greg Perry
is a Mountain View city council member and member of the VTA Policy Advisory Board. He has written articles exposing financial inefficiency at the VTA, and is an outspoken critic of plans for a second tax to fund BART to San Jose.
